Getting Started

Installing Ohanae ID

Method 1: Sign Up from Virtual Data Room or IAM Landing Page

After sign up from the page, you will receive an email "Welcome to Ohanae: Your account is ready".

Click on the icon and you will be redirected to the Google Play Store. You can download the app from there.

Method 2: Download Ohanae ID from Google Play Store

You can directly access the download page here. Click Install to download the app on your device.

Start Using Ohanae ID

Method 1: Sign Up from Virtual Data Room or IAM Landing Page

1. Get your login details from the email "Welcome to Ohanae: Your account is ready".

2. Key in Username and One-Time Passphrase provided for first time login.

3. Select on "LOGIN" to continue.

4. Key in your personal information as seen below.

5. Select "DONE".

Method 2: Download Ohanae App from Google Play Store

1. Select on "SIGNUP" to register an Ohanae ID.

2. Key in your personal information as seen below.

3. Select on the "SIGNUP" button to continue. An account verification email will be sent to you. Do check the junk mail folder if you do not receive the email.

Sign Out

1. Select "Account".

2. Select "Sign out".

Passwords

Add New Account

Empowers you to create unique strong passwords for your online accounts. Passwords are not stored, they are dynamically generated and erased locally from your device when not in use.

1. Select "Passwords".

2. Select the "+" button.

3. Enter the application name (example: Facebook, Gmail, Amazon) of your choice and username. The system will generate a strong password based on the parameters (user-defined) or you may manually enter a password of your choice.

4. Select "Save" to complete the process.

Adding Additional Accounts to an Existing Application

1. Select "Passwords".

2. Click on the application where you want to save the new account.

3. Select the "+" button.

4. Enter your new account's username. The system will generate a strong password based on the parameters (user-defined) or you may manually enter a password of your choice. Select "Save" to complete the process.

5. Your accounts will be listed.

View Account's Password

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

3. Select a username from a list of aliases registered under the application.

4. Select "Show Password".

5. Your account's password will be displayed.

Change Account's Password

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

3. Click the "Edit" icon for the account you want to modify.

4. Select "Generate New Password".

5. The system will generate a strong password based on the parameters (user-defined) or you may manually enter a password of your choice. Select "Save" to complete the process.

6. A window will prompt to display your old and new password.

Edit Username

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

3. Edit Application's Name or Username?

i. Application's Name
ii. Username

i. Application's Name

1. Select "EDIT".

2. Enter a new application's name and select "DONE".

ii. Username

1. Click the "Edit" icon corresponding to the account you wish to modify.

1. Select "Edit Username".

2. Enter a new username and select "Ok".

Share Password

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

3. Click the "Edit" icon corresponding to the account you wish to share.

4. Select "Share Password".

5. Insert recipient's Ohanae Username/Email and select "Search".

6. Select "YES" to proceed.

A window will prompt to display your password has been shared.

Share password to multiple user

1. Select the "+" button to add multiple recipients on the same password.

2. Insert recipient's Ohanae Username/Email and select "Search".

3. Select "YES" to proceed.

A window will prompt to display your password has been shared.

The users your password was shared with will be displayed.

A "shared" icon will appear next to the username.

Unshare Password

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

3. Click the "Edit" icon for the account from which you want to remove the shared password.

4. Select "Share Password".

5. Click "Cancel" to close the prompt window.

6. Click the "Delete" icon to remove the shared user.

7. Select "YES" to proceed.

Rollback Password

If you want to revert to the password previously generated by Ohanae, please continue with the following steps.

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

Check your current password:
Click on the username whose password you want to rollback from the list and select "Show Password".

Your current password is displayed.

3. Click the "Edit" icon.

4. Select "Rollback Password".

5. Select the time you want to rollback your password.

6. Select "YES" to proceed.

A window will prompt to inform you that the rollback process was successful.

You will notice that the time is displayed differently than before.

You can check the current password by selecting the account and select "Show Password" on the appropriate account.

Delete Account

1. Select "Passwords".

2. From the Passwords page, select the desire application.

3. Click the "Edit" icon corresponding to the account you want to delete.

4. Select "Delete Account".

5. Select "YES" to proceed.

Your remaining accounts will displayed in the list.

Account

Change Passphrase

1. Select "Account".

2. Select "Change Passphrase".

3. Enter the information and select "DONE".

A message confirms your passphrase has been updated.

Devices

What you can do?

i. Rename Device
ii. Deactivate Device

1. Select "Account".

2. Select "Devices".

i. Rename Device

1. Select the "Edit" icon.

2. Enter a new device's name and select "Ok".

ii. Deactivate Device

1. Select the "Delete" icon.

2. Select "YES".

An email "Ohanae: Device Deactivation" will sent to your registered email address. Your selected device will be deactivated after you click the confirmation link "Deactivate" in the email.

Forget Trustees?

i. Check via Ohanae ID
ii. Check via Ohanae website

i. Check via Ohanae ID

1. Select "Account".

2. Select "Passphrase Recovery".

3. Enter your passphrase to continue.

4. Your trustees will be listed.

ii. Check via Ohanae website

1. Go to the "Passphrase Recovery" section at the end of the website.

2. Select "Yes".

2. Select "Forget Trustees?".

3. Key in Username, Email Address and select "Send".

4. You will receive an email of your trustee list.

Set Up Your Own Trustees

1. Select "Account".

2. Select "Passphrase Recovery".

3. Enter your passphrase to continue.

4. Your trustees will be listed. Select the "Delete" icon.

5. Select "YES" to remove.

6. Select "+" to add new trustee.

7. Add trustee's email and select "Ok".

8. Your new trustees will be listed.

Forget Passphrase?

1. Go to "Passphrase Recovery" section at the end of the website.

2. Did you appoint a minimum of 2 trustees?

Answer: Yes -> Proceed to Method 1

Answer: No -> Proceed to Method 2

Method 1:

1. Contact your appointed trustees

What Trustee needs to do?

From their Ohanae ID, search "Passphrase Recovery" under "Passwords" tab.

Send you the recovery code.

2. Go to "Passphrase Recovery" section at the end of the website.

3. Select "Yes".

4. Paste the recovery code and select "Recovery".

5. Login to Ohanae ID using the recovered passphrase.

Method 2:

Have you completed your KYC at platform.ohanae.com?

Answer: Yes -> Proceed to Method 2.1

Answer: No -> Proceed to Method 2.2

Method 2.1:

1. Key in your email address and select "Next".

2. An email "Verify your email address" will sent to your email address. Paste the verification code into the field and select "Next".

3. A text message with verification code will sent to your phone mumber. Paste the verification code into the field and select "Next".

4. You can log in to Ohanae ID using the Username and Passphrase displayed.

Delete Account

1. Select "Account".

2. Select "Delete Account".

3. Select "Yes".

There is a 30-day grace period for account deletion. You can restore the account by clicking the "Resume" button in the email "Your Ohanae account will be removed after 30 days".
